Latchley, Chilsworthy and Cox Park Show

HORSE SHOW
for horses and ponies under 15.2hh

• Advance entries only
• Entries are likely to close on the Thursday prior to the show
• No entries will be taken on the day
• Entry forms are in the schedule and also here
• Entry fee is £2 per class
• All classes are open and will start at 1pm

1st to 6th place will receive rosettes in each class, plus two special rosettes

Points will be awarded for the Ron Green Memorial Perpetual Challenge Trophy awarded as follows: 1st=6pts; 2nd=5pts; 3rd=4pts; 4th=3pts; 5th=2pts; 6th=1pt

1. Best lead rein - for young or very novice riders
2. Best condition in hand
3. Best turned out, ridden
4. Best family pony 14.2hh & under
5. Best mountain & moorland in hand
6. Horse or pony the judge would most like to take home
   Most Promising Rider will now be judged
7. Best mane & tail a) plaited b) unplaited
8. Best veteran, must be 17 years or over
9. Fancy dress

• The Ruth Keegan Memorial Trophy will be awarded to the most promising rider.
• Most promising rider will be judged after class 6
• Horse Rosettes kindly sponsored by Redmoor

Rules

The organisers will not be held responsible and will not accept any liability for any accident, loss, damage or injury howsoever caused to any horses, riders, owners, spectators or property and it is a condition of entry that these rules are accepted.

Any animal that kicks must wear a red ribbon on its tail at all times.

No horse under four years of age may be ridden.

The judges will ride at their own discretion without giving an explanation.

The judge’s decision is final. Any discrepancies to be taken up within 30 minutes with the Secretary together with a £15 admin charge.

Riders are under obligation at all times when mounted to ensure that they are wearing protective headgear complying with current British Standards.

Suitable footwear must be worn at all times.

No cantering or galloping is allowed outside of the ring. You will be asked to leave the show if you do so.

All horses, ponies, and riders must enter the showfield via the Latchley end of the lane leading to the showfield. Please follow the signs.
