but will not change much for 2012

Admission to the Show
Free admission to dog show exhibitors as follows:
- Up to two dogs – free admission for one person at the gate.
- Three dogs or more – free admission for two persons at the gate.
- Remainder of party – admission as charged at the gate.
Entries: are taken in the ring.
Judging: commences at 2pm
Entry fees: £1 per dog per class
- Diploma & Rosettes for Best in Show, Reserve Best in Show, Best Puppy
- Diploma & Rosettes for Best Crossbred and Best Novelty.
- Rosettes to 3rd place in each class.
- Prize cards to 5th place in each class.
Classes
Pedigree & Crossbred Classes
- Any variety Puppy 6-12mths of age
- Any variety Terrier, Pastoral & Working
- Any variety Gundog & Hound
- Any variety Toy & Utility
- Any variety Open (open to all pedigree dogs)
Best in Show, Reserve Best in Show, and Best Puppy will then be judged
- Best Crossbred Puppy
- Best Crossbred Dog or Bitch
Best Crossbred will then be judged
Novelty Classes
- Best Companion Dog (open to Members of the Kennel Club Companion Dog Club)
- Best Veteran – 7 yrs and over
- Best Mover for type or breed
- The Dog in best condition
- Dog most like its owner
- Best Rescue Dog (for dogs from rescue centers)
- The Handsomest Dog
- The Prettiest Bitch
- The best Long Coat
- The best Short Coat
- Adult Handler
- The Dog with the wiggliest tail
- The Dog the Judge would most like to take home
Best novelty will then be judged
Rules
- No puppies under 6 months of age, CC winners, Reserve CC winners or Junior Warrant winners to be shown
- Dogs to be on leads at all times except where necessary in competition
- Classes 1-5 pedigree dogs only, 6-7 crossbred dogs only, 8 restricted to Members of the Kennel Club Companion Dog Club and the remainder of classes are open to all
- Dogs need not be registered with the Kennel Club
- Neutered dogs and bitches may be shown
- Dog fouling and litter must be disposed of correctly. Bags will be provided
- The Judge’s decisions will be final.
Remember to bring a drinking bowl and water for your dog, and a safety pin for your Ring Number.
