Rules
(These are the 2011 rules, but they are unlikely to change for 2012.)
Judging will be conducted according to RHS/NAFAS rules, unless otherwise stated in the Schedule.
All entries must be the property of the exhibitor in whose name they are entered and in the case of flower, fruit and vegetable sections, must be grown in their own garden.
All handicrafts and art must be the sole work of the exhibitor and not previously shown at any LCCP show.
All photography must be the sole work of the exhibitor and not previously shown at any LCCP show.
All entries to be made on the official entry form and sent with entry fees to the Entries Secretary by Wednesday 28th July.
Exhibitors who are unable to stage their exhibits personally, may forward them to the Entries Secretary who will see they are properly staged.
All exhibits to be staged between 8am and 10am on the 31st July 2010 and not removed before 5pm on that day.
Exhibits remaining after 5.15pm will be auctioned for Show funds.
All exhibitors are to leave the Marquee by 10am unless officially retained by the Committee.
The Judge’s decision is final and the right to withhold any award is reserved.
Entry fees @ 20p per entry
Prize money will be paid as follows
1st – 75p
2nd – 50p
3rd – 25p in all classes
Prize money will be paid out at the Treasurer’s Office from 3.30 pm onwards.
Points awarded
1st – 4 points
2nd – 2 points
3rd – 1 point
The committee shall decide upon any matter not provided for in these rules.
Measurements in all classes are now to be in metric. Imperial sizes will be given in brackets for guidance.
A Novice is an exhibitor who has not previously won a first prize at any show.
